I’m still working on this, albeit relatively quietly. New Texas is a location explored later in the game. I would say that the game is three-quarters done at this point, although the ninety-ninety rule always applies. Video in the post.
I think I’ve finally fixed the issue that caused the game to get stuck at the loading screen. It should be live on Google Play shortly, or you can grab the APK right away. I don’t have a lot of devices to test it on, though, so more input is needed.

At the request of an OpenGameArt commenter, I’ve created a standalone desktop port of Ascension: Adventure. It’s more like a wrapped version- I’m using node-webkit with minor modifications to the game code. Technical details are forthcoming. In the meantime, you can download the beta.

I’m moving this site to new, faster hosting. The domain will also change from xcvgsystems.net to xcvgsystems.com. Redirection should work, but I recommend you change any relevant links once the site has moved. This process will be finished (hopefully) by the end of the week, and the successful completion of the changeover will be announced.
